Meet Tim Smith

As the son of a farmer and preacher, Tim Smith learned early the importance of hard work, Hoosier principles and Christian values. Born in Fort Wayne and raised in New Haven, Tim attended New Haven High School and later went on to graduate from IPFW (Purdue Fort Wayne). Tim and his wife, Angela, moved to Indianapolis to attend IU McKinney School of Law. During this time, they had three children and Tim also worked fulltime. Upon admission to the Indiana Bar, Tim and his family returned to Northeast Indiana and grew to a family of seven.

After twenty-five years as a senior leader who helped grow one of Indiana’s largest companies, Tim felt a calling to help others and serve his community. That’s when he joined a nonprofit to help struggling families and youth. Tim currently serves as the chief executive officer of the largest, Christ-centered family services provider in Indiana, fighting to protect children and lift-up families.

Tim and Angela have been married for more than thirty-three years with five children and seventeen grandchildren. He has been an active member of Grace Gathering Church for fifty-one years. Tim’s passion for helping others has been driven by his faith. In Congress, Tim will continue helping Hoosiers by protecting the rights and the freedoms we value.

Tim is a principled conservative, who is focused on ending wokeness and expanding freedom. Tim is a businessman, not a career politician that will conform to the demands of Washington’s political elite. Tim will be a voice for hard-working Hoosiers, and he is ready to fight to create a future of prosperity for our children and grandchildren.
